He was an eminent well known medical doctor with a vast experience in practicing knowledge of the science of Homeopathy and Herbal,This is why the then Hon’ble Minister for health ,Govt.of Bihar had nominated him as an hon’ble member of Bihar state Board of Homoeopathic system of Medicine. In the mean time, he got a golden chance to learn Acupressure/Acupunture/ Alternative systems of Medicine from the great Saints in 1972. He found and felt that there are many things in heaven and Earth. Acupressure/ Acupunture is the ancient healing art and science . It has become popular the world over during the past few decades. It has been proved remarkably effective and free from the side effects. It is simple, safe , effective and economical form of therapy

Many prestigious Hospitals, Universities, Medical schools around the world have now established departments for therapy and research. Disease is caused by the natural energy (+ i ve & - I've ),which flow in the body, becomes, imbalanced . There is universally present in all nature. Correction of this imbalance is achieved by giving pressure at selected Acupressure points. The basis of Acupressure is correction of the energy balance.

Modern scientific medicine is built on the study of chemical changes in disease. One thing always hunts his mind “why we do change the drug if it works and later on we priscribe it in stronger doses. We come to conclusion that effects appear worse than the disease.”

Thus, due to these circumstances , he was compelled to work and popularise for development,of these systems of treatment (Acupressure/Acupunture/Alternative medicine) in India establishing two more institutions like Indian council of Acupressure Yoga and Swasthya Jagarukata Mission ,Patna. He worked hard to popularise by imparting trainings , treatment camps, seminars all over India till he breathed his last (12th July 1986). W.H.O has taken attention towards these systems of treatment for promotion all over world in 1979.

Acupressure Mahaguru Dr.gupta’s Aims and Motto were:-

1.To popularize Marma dab Yoga (Acupressure Yoga),Acupunture, Magnet, Naturopathy, Electropathy, Batch flower,Fengshui &Vastu ,Herbal medicine and other Alternative system of medicine through lectures, paper reading and seminars.

2.To establish education centres and dispensaries all over India with the co-operations of the people and the students.

3.To popularise these systems in our country with the help and co-operations of the students.

4.To minimise the health budgets of Central and States Governments. At last , he has given a very effective slogan for health is “Acupressure is a good friend of life.”And lastly he requested to all governments with force that if the aim of the W.H.O is to be achieved “Health for All”,it can only be done after the full acceptance of traditional medicine Marma Dab Yoga (Acupressure Yoga). National congress on Acupressure, Yoga, Alternative system of Medicine and drugless therapy is organised every year on the “26th day of May on Acupressure Day” at different Venues since1994.Thus uptill now about 25 national congress have been organised . More than thousand free treatment camps and seminars have been organised at different places and going on. The dignitaries like the H.E. Governors , Hon’ble Chief Ministers, Hon’ble Ministers , Hon’ble Justice, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor , Eminent officials, Doctors and Intelectuals have attended the functions and appreciated one. The institution has a good set of well qualified teaching and non-teaching staffs.And there are 135(One Hundred Thirty Five) branches of this institution,which are working all over India uptill now and gradually the branches are increasing. About Two Thousand students are getting training every year .Aout Fourty Eight thousand students have passed out and doing well. Their families depend upon them for livelihood.
